iPhone 13: Apple adds larger battery, more storage, cinematic video mode.
Picture of iPhone 13. During a virtual event on Tuesday, Apple announced the follow-up of last year’s iPhone 12 with four new models: the iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. The new phones come with iOS 15 , a larger battery, more storage, a new A15 Bionic processor and new camera features. The basic model of the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini is available in five
colors: Pink, Blue, Midnight, Starlight and Product Red. Apple said the iPhone 13 costs
$799 for 128GB, which is double the storage space that the iPhone 12 comes with. One thing that is not clear is whether this price gets a $30 carrier discount. When Apple announced the iPhone 12, it showed the price after the $30 carrier discount was applied.
Probably the most welcomed feature is a larger battery.
Apple didn’t share the size, but claims that the new battery, along with the iOS 15, A15 chip and updated screens, adds up to two and a half hours more battery life.
The iPhone 13 has a new camera system that is evident from the new cross-orientation of the two cameras on the back of the phone. On the camera bump on the iPhone 12, the two cameras were stacked vertically.
Apple claims that the larger battery, along with the iOS 15, A15 chip and updated screens, gives the iPhone 13 a longer battery life.
