Apple dropped a few new products at tuesday’s Keynote event and released information about major updates to its existing devices.
Here are all the biggest announcements from Tuesday’s big tech conference:
Apple launches iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro with most advanced camera system ever
Apple has unveiled the highly anticipated iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro models, equipped with a powerful new camera system, an even brighter OLED display, a new and incredibly fast A15 Bionic chip and improved battery life.
The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini will come in five new colors: pink, blue, midnight, starlight and (PRODUCT)RED. In particular, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max come in four coatings, while the devices have cameras placed horizontally from each other: graphite, gold, silver and sierra blue.
The iPhone 13 Pro will start at $999 and the iPhone 13 Pro Max will start at $1,099. Pre-orders will begin on Friday, September 17, and the devices will go on sale on September 24.
Apple announces updates to iPad series, including iPad Mini
A new iPad, iPad Mini and several new features on iPadOS have been announced.
In particular, the new series includes the all-new A15 Bionic chip, an updated screen design, 5G capability, and the iPad Mini with An Ultra Wide front camera with Apple’s popular Center Stage feature. Meanwhile, the iPad A13 Bionic chip has been updated with True Tone technology, the same Ultra Wide camera as Center Stage, and impressive storage options starting at 64GB.
The iPad Mini can be ordered today from $499. The iPad 329 starts at $US329 and will be available from September 24.
Apple launches Watch Series 7 with larger screen
Apple Watch Series 7 is coming soon and is designed with faster charging, all new accessories and advanced watchOS 8.
Several important updates have been made to the device, including a brighter, Always On Retina display with 20% more screen area and ultra-thin 1.7mm borders with softer and rounder corners. The watch also received strong upgrades to its durability, including a redesigned front crystal that makes it more resistant to cracks and an advanced IP6X dust-resistant rating that makes it more durable in sandy areas such as the beach. The watch’s charging capabilities have also been updated, providing 18 hours of battery life on a single charge, while the new watchOS 8 is optimized for wider screen space.
All Apple Watch Series 7 models will be available this fall. Apple Watch Series 7 will start at $399, Apple Watch SE will start at $279, and Apple Watch Series 3 will start at $199. Accessories will be available to order from today.
Hermes releases two new luxury Watch group styles
Apple is releasing two new styles in partnership with Hermesile . Circuit H, a game about the luxury brand’s anchor chain design, is available in Swift leather brown and blue, wine and blue, black and blue.
The second offering, the Gourmette Double Tour, returns to the 1930s collars of House, with thin bands and flexible Fauve Barénia brown leather woven rings. The band is wrapped twice around the wrist and reflects the brand’s popular chain motif.
All Apple Watch Series 7 models and Apple Watch Hermès Series 7 and new Apple Watch Hermès bands will be available this fall.
