Bitcoin reached a new record high of over $ 63,000 after rising 5.4% from the 24-hour low of $ 60,000.
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) reached its all-time high price earlier today as the market stirred excitement over tomorrow’s Coinbase (COIN) IPO.
It is trading below $ 63,000, just above $ 100.
The news is tracking a particularly high level of exit from the crypto exchanges recorded yesterday, and this is often a bullish sign.
Market watchers largely attribute this spike to the upcoming Coinbase stock offers that will take place tomorrow on the Nasdaq.
While some investment professionals called the $ 100 billion valuation for Coinbase – much higher than the exchange valuation it will host its offering – straight up nonsense, they are quite enthusiastic about many issues.
ETF executives seem to be among the most excited about this offer, with some going so far as to say that their funds can be bought into Coinbase as soon as they enter the market.
