Bitcoin’s price has fallen by more than 11% in the last 24 hours and sat just over $41,600 at the time of writing. The cryptocurrency came close to .m below $40,000 when it fell to $40,500 at 5:30 p.m. PT time. Bitcoin’s price would fall below $40,000 for the first time since early August. Bitcoin’s all-time high hit $64,863 on April 14.
