Five people have been detained for links to the theft of US singer Lady Gaga’s dogs.
In February, the famous singer’s two dogs, Koji and Gustav, a French bulldog breed, were abducted while being walked by their carer, Ryan Fischer. Fischer was gunned down by two men and wounded in the chest.
As part of the investigation, five people were detained, including the man who brought the dogs back, for links to the work of Los Angeles Lady Gaga’s dogs. Among those detained was a woman who brought the dogs after Lady Gaga said she would give $500,000 without question to the dog’s bringing in.
Meanwhile, detectives said they believed the thieves did not know the dogs belonged to Lady Gaga at the time of the incident, and that they may have abducted the dogs because of the value of the dogs.
